G wagon wheel cover on a Sprinter Van

We written about how you can use Mercedes G wagon (Gelandewagen) wheels on a T1N Sprinter van. The 5x130 bolt pattern is identical and as long as you’re using the 17” or maybe even the 18” wheels you might not even need to do any fender trimming or suspension modifications like a lift. So it’s safe to say that you could also utilize the factory spare wheel cover for spruce up the exterior look of your T1N van.

The wheel cover come from the W463 and came on G500, G55AMG and G63AMG G wagons in the states. It might have been found on other models. But for the US, this is the easiest way to source one.

Ebay is likely your best bet. They can be as expensive at $3000, so you’ll just need to be patient if you want to find a cheap one.

The G wagon wheel cover makes the T1N look a little like a G from behind. Colored matched like this blue here makes it look right at home and even like it came from the factory this way. Obviously you’ll need a rear spare tire carrier to move it from underneath the van to the back as shown.
