Adventuremobile Spotting: Skydancer Apera Sprinter 4x4

Klaus Hünerkopf built what looks to be a 4x4 Sprinter on a NVC3 and made it with a retractable convertible roof. It’s called the Skydancer Apera. Wild. This was from the (Caravan, Motor and Tourism) CMT 2020 show in Stuttgart, Germany. The roof conversion was done by Caleche in Germany. We seen similar ones used for tours in San Francisco and Belgium.

This van is unique. Mercedes didn’t have a factory 4x4 for these 2013 NVC3 vans so the 4x4 system is from Iglhaut Allrad. We would love to mod our 2013 Sportsmobile with a system from Iglhaut Allrad. With this set up they actually fit 37-in BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires on here.

Supposedly you can buy one for a cool $300k!!! yikes!
