Prototyping: Rear Sprinter molle door panels

The rear doors have a lot to offer in terms of usable space. On the outside you find ladders, sparetires, bins for generators and bike racks a plenty. But on the inside, what can be done for flexible cargo space? We took some cues from military and overland vehicles to design and build our modular panels where you can mount all sorts of stuff without having to conform to one bespoke set of storage.

Mounting base plate

Our first initial test was to try to retain the OEM storage pouch and create a plate which anyone could mount anything they wanted. Even drill and tap anything from L Track to RAM mounts.
