Adventuremobile Spotting: Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ 79

This month we only caught one key truck that really caught our eye. A 90’s era Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ 79 from Alamenia or also known as Deutchland, or Germany 🇩🇪 for us Yanks.

We innitially thought this was a Desert Tec in Germany. But this is not just a roof conversion but a full rear expedition box and the roof isn’t as tall.

Very similar in design, we thought it was also a Uro-Camper Xplora II - URO Makes a Sprinter setup called the Rhino. It’s our goal to build something similar. Such a cool concept and packaging.

But what we ultimately discovered is it’s a Custom Camper from Germany. Not a great name but a very cool design and product. If anyone knows these folks and if they have their travels online, please leave a comment and we’ll share the link.
