Sprinter T1N Sprinter Wiring

example: S126 = Central Door Locks

If you’re doing some DIYing and looking to see what wire powers what.. Here’s a helpful breakdown of all the reference numbers for controls and switches of a Mercedes, Dodge, Freightliner Sprinter Van. (thanks to autostaretx)

While you may find it easy to splice or tap into existing wiring. We highly recommend creating a dedicated fused distribution block with it’s own dedicated power in. We found this Blue Sea Systems one to work quite well for small power needs, like UBS ports or LED lights.

You should also use the correct gauge wire for your application. Using too thin of wire will cause it to heat up and melt the insulation either catching the insulation on fire or grounding the exposed wire. This is how many DIY vans typically burn down.

Check our other post on calculating wire gauge / thickness for your application.
