These tires are an option from Mercedes Benz when ordering a Sprinter. Our 2020 2500 4x4 came ordered with these from the factory. We bought the van late 2020 and immediately began using these on long haul highway trips, dirt roads and of course in the snow. Our first test was pretty diverse and gave us an immediate understanding of how underrated these tires actually are.

Overview on tread:

Tire is directional and needs to be mounted with the tread going forward on each side.

They have great wide grooves channeling the water and what they call “3D sipes”

The real difference you can feel is the “New silica compound” keeping it flexible in low temp

Not only M+S rated but carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

We’ve tested these tires from November 2020 to April 2021 with roughly 10,000 miles of highway, dirt, city and mountain snow driving. Below are some moments and reflections of our experiences.
