Cold Air Intake on a Sprinter Van?

Found this on the interwebs from a dude in Florida I believe. Anyhow, he’s been really excited about prototyping a charge pipe to reduce lag, increase power and make neat sounds. Not something we’re interested in at the moment but worth a share.

Removal of the OEM air box to give way to the plumbing

Not pretty in it’s prototyped form. Looks to tuck the intake in the area where a second battery might alternatively go.
