Tech: how much oil should I add?

How much oil should I add if I see a low oil warning ⚠️?

First recommendation is to get the manual dip stick to verify the computer. We have a post about this easy mod.

In this scenario its saying to add one quart. It’s likely if you do this it will then say the oil level is too high.

Add ½ quart… run it for 15. Check the level and add more if needed. Its easier to add then remove oil if you overfill.
